The Giants Win 2012 Championship

September 17, 2012: The weekend was full of exciting playoff action on the T-Ball diamond in High Park as eight teams vied to claim the Champions trophy for 2012. By Sunday, the field had narrowed to just two teams, the Royals and the Giants. The two contenders played an exciting double-header on Sunday, but in the end it was the Giants who prevailed.

All fourteen High Park T-Ball teams played in the round-robin portion of the play-off tournament. The high level of play reflected the improvement of all the players this summer. In addition to all the house league games, more than 60 young players participated in tournaments this summer.

Thanks to all the dedicated coaches who spent hours teaching baseball skills and developing the talent of young ball players. Congratulations to all the teams who demonstrated great spirit and skill during the playoffs!
